Frequently Asked Questions
What makes TransPHORMation Rehabilitation different from other therapy clinics?
You’re not just another patient here — you’re a partner in the process.
At TransPHORMation Rehabilitation, you’ll work one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy every session. There are no techs, no rushed appointments, and no generic programs.
I combine a number of therapeutic techniques to treat the whole person — not just the diagnosis. My clients come to me because they’re ready for real progress, not just routine therapy.
What kind of patients do you see?
We serve people of all ages, identities, and activity levels. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, navigating aging, or just looking to move better, we provide personalized care to meet your unique needs in a respectful, inclusive space.
What conditions do you treat?
We specialize in:
Chronic pain
Post-surgical recovery
Orthopedic and sports injuries
Concussion management
Vestibular dysfunction
Lymphedema and swelling
Joint, muscle, and mobility limitations
Balance and fall prevention
Wellness care for seniors
That being said, Dr. Samantha Albrecht treats a variety of conditions and diagnoses not listed above. Contact the office for any specific questions regarding your particular medical concerns.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently accept Medicare. For all other insurance plans (including Medicare HMO), we operate on a cash-pay basis, which allows us to focus on quality, individualized care without the restrictions of third-party payers. With ongoing changes in the healthcare environment, many individuals are not aware of the constraints that use of insurance places on the care they are provided and the options they have. If there are any additional parties involved in assisting you in making your decision, please invite them along!
Why should I pay cash when I already have insurance?
Because you deserve more than what insurance allows.
Most insurance plans restrict visit lengths, frequency, and the type of treatment covered. I offer comprehensive, goal-driven care that gets you better results — faster and with fewer limitations.
You’re not paying for minutes; you’re investing in outcomes.
How much does it cost?
Every body (and every situation) is unique — which means your treatment plan will be, too. The time, techniques, and frequency that best support your goals can vary from person to person.
While some people initially feel that private rehabilitation may seem like a big investment, the real cost often comes from what pain, limitation, or injury takes away — missed work, lost hobbies, or being unable to do the things that make life meaningful.
At TransPHORMation Rehabilitation, our focus is on providing effective, individualized care that helps you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love — because that’s truly priceless.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes we do! TransPHORMation Rehabilitation offers a FREE 15 minute consult. During this time, we will discuss what your concerns are and how you are looking to improve your current status. If we think you’re a good fit, we can then discuss options for a more thorough assessment and treatment plan, helping you to start moving in the right direction!
What if I need to discuss my care with my partner/spouse/family?
That’s completely understandable. Your health is an important decision — and so is choosing the right provider.
I encourage you to share what sets my approach apart: one-on-one sessions with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, advanced techniques like dry needling, yoga-based movement, and truly individualized care that helps you feel and move better faster.
I’m happy to provide any details you need to make the decision that’s best for you. Invite others involved in your decision-making along so all questions and concerns can be answered.
Do you offer telehealth or virtual sessions?
